JUSTIN MOORHOUSE - STRETCH AND THINK
The well-known stand-up comedian and radio DJ from Manchester, Justin Moorhouse is back for a night of belly-laughs at the Torch Theatre on Thursday 13 April 2023.
Justin needs no introduction - he appeared in Peter Kay’s Phoenix Nights and Looking for Eric as well as taking part in the 2010 series of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as one of the supporting acts.
A comedian, actor, dog walker, parent, undercover vegan and northern joker, Moorhouse is a must-see in his brand new show that may contain yoga, getting older, Madonna, shoplifters, Labradoodles, middle-aged cyclists, The Menopause, running, hating football fans but loving football, not drinking, funerals, is Tapas a rip off?, Captain Tom, Droylsden, the environment, self-improvement, ruining a sexual position, electric car charging spots used by doggers, nursery graduation, horses, Stig look-a-likes, home cooked food in places that aren’t your own home, the odd advantages of fundamental religions, the gym and shop door etiquette.
Moorhouse has a wealth of experience on stage. At the age of 29, he competed in a local comedy competition, winning the final held at the Comedy Store Manchester and there was no looking back. Soon afterwards, he performed in a comedy tour, before getting the role of Young Kenny in Phoenix Nights. Although Young Kenny is a Manchester City supporter, Moorhouse himself supports their rivals, Manchester United.
