Sunset Cinema, brought to you by the Torch Theatre, takes the big-screen experience beyond the theatre walls and into some of the most memorable locations across Pembrokeshire and beyond.

From harbours and castles to country estates, parks, attractions and community spaces, we work with venue partners to create unique outdoor cinema events that bring people together, attract visitors and give audiences a reason to discover somewhere new.

But a successful Sunset Cinema event is about more than putting a film on a screen. It’s about creating an experience people want to be part of.

Is your venue suitable?

You don’t need to be a traditional events venue to host Sunset Cinema. We’re interested in locations with character, atmosphere and the potential to create a memorable experience.

The first consideration is space. We need an outdoor area large enough to accommodate our screen and technical equipment, along with an audience viewing area and suitable access for our team to set up safely.

When considering your venue, think about:

Adequate space: Room for the screen, equipment, audience seating and safe movement around the event.
A suitable setting: A location with atmosphere, whether that’s a waterfront, castle grounds, open field, country estate, park or community space.
Safe access: Practical arrangements for our team, vehicles, equipment and audience arrival and departure.
Audience facilities: Consider parking, toilets, accessibility, lighting and any other facilities visitors may need.
Weather and ground conditions: An outdoor location that can accommodate the event safely, with suitable arrangements for changing conditions.

Getting the right film for your audience

The right film can make all the difference.
