This June at the Torch Theatre, join ADHD coach, speaker and former Wright Stuff TV presenter Hester Grainger LIVE on the road with ADHD - UNMASKED. It will be an evening of open conversation, laughter and a refreshingly honest look at life in a safe space, share stories and experiences in a fun evening which welcomes everyone.
Hester is the go-to ADHD expert in the press and is a regular guest on podcasts. She even went viral after her appearance on ADHD Chatter with Alex Partridge, with clips from her episode being viewed more than 22 million times!
Join Hester for this interactive and dopamine filled evening, where she will share how to embrace your speedy brain, learn to be kinder to yourself and how to focus on your strengths. She’ll also share her life as a mum and wife to two autistic / ADHD teenagers and her autistic / ADHD husband, talk about ADHD at work, relationships, friendships, what to do if you think you have ADHD and much, much more.
People will have the chance to ask questions and interact throughout. It’s perfect for those with ADHD whether diagnosed or not, supportive friends, loved ones and ADHD allies. You’ll leave feeling uplifted, empowered, understanding more about yourself and how your brain works and most importantly, knowing you aren’t alone on this journey.
Hester Grainger started her TV career presenting on Channel 5's The Wright Stuff. Hester went on to work on Loose Women and Today with Des and Mel. She has appeared on radio stations including BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 4 , BBC Radio 5 Live and even hosted her own show on BBC Radio Berkshire.
Hester has been a guest on a host of podcasts including ADHD Chatter, The Hidden 20% and ADHD Women's Wellbeing Podcast. She has written about neurodiversity for publications including Huffington Post, Evening Standard, Reader’s Digest and Arabian Business.
Hester alongside her husband Kelly are co-founders of Perfectly Autistic, a neurodiversity consultancy which they launched in 2020. They work with organisations to support neurodivergent employees through training, talks, webinars and coaching.
Hester and Kelly are neurodivergent having both been diagnosed with ADHD in their forties, after Kelly was diagnosed as autistic. Hester is also mum to two autistic and ADHD teens.
Hester Grainger says: “I am so excited that I get to tour the UK talking about ADHD, which is something I am so passionate about. Having been diagnosed in my forties, I’ve spent my whole life wondering why I do things in a certain way and now I know why. With the increase in awareness, a lot of people have questions and are keen to understand more.
The evening is going to be a fun, entertaining and honest conversation about ADHD, where the audience will get to ask questions and nothing is off limits.”
