Despicable Me 4 Review by Freya Barn

Gru, as everyone remembers, now works for the AVL (Anti-Villain league) and takes down villains from all over. This movie starts with another one of Grus AVL missions in his old villain high school, as he and everyone else who was in his year back to the school for a villain meet up and a trophy giving ceremony. While there Gru finds one of his old enemies, Maxime Le mal. Maxime and Gru never got along well and spent their hole high school career fighting and still today things don’t look pretty when there around each other. But after Maxime revealed his new secret weapon, Gru takes action and the AVL agents arrest him. Gru goes back home and is welcomed by of course the minions, his children and wife. Although, overnight in prison, Maxime breaks out and is after Gru. Gru and his family are forced to escape to the AVL safehouse until Maxime gets caught and are given completely new identities to blend in and along the way, make some unexpected new friends. Although it is hard to adjust to Grus new life, he can still always sneak some fun in there, even if that means robbing his old high school!

This is an amazing movie. The layout fits in perfectly with the movies before, including visits from previous villains like Scarlet overkill, Vector and Belle bottom from the most recent movie. We all remember the minions love for humor and how stupid they can be. Well in this movie the minions are more humerus than ever! I laughed harder than I ever laughed before watching this movie. The Actors in this movie did extremely well. Watching this movie i felt like i was inside of it. The actors really fit their character and played them perfectly. All of the characters are just as we remember from the past movie but we all must welcome the new Gru Junior!

Over all this movie is just a perfect family film for any time of the day. I really enjoyed watching this movie and 100% recommend to anyone who just wants something fun to do on a day out and i would watch it again, whether that's in the theatres or at home. This is a fabulous movie.
