Hello, I’m Yasmin Kiff and I work as the Digital Marketing Executive here at the Torch Theatre.

I began working at the Torch in May 2022. This was only for a short period as I had my son in September that year. I had a whirlwind few months getting to grips with the role and meeting the lovely team here at the Torch. I resumed my role in August 2023, and returning to the very busy place, has been great. I get to work with all the different departments, so no day is the same and I’m surrounded by lovely colleagues, so the office is a great place to be.

I write social media posts daily, I send emails to clients, as well as designing some graphics (however, I’m not as skilled as Amanda, our in-house designer, so you’ll only see basic ones from me). I sometimes feel I’m some sort of video content creator having created clips of ‘Chelsey and Tim on the Sofa’ where they talk about various productions that are then uploaded to social media platforms. It’s all about using your imagination to engage with the public.

Outside work, I spend time with my family and friends, as well as going on adventures around Pembrokeshire with lots of lovely walks with our two black labs. We do also like to sneak in a few holidays a year if we can!

As well as being a mum, some of my biggest life achievements include summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, raising money for BEAT and cycling from Pembrokeshire to Blackpool with Pembrokeshire Young Farmers Club raising money for the Welsh Air Ambulance and Prostate Cymru. As a previous, avid member of Keyston YFC, I enjoyed performing on stage, taking part in public speaking and I took part in many rally competitions.

I love working alongside creative people who are uplifting and being able to help promote an iconic beacon in Pembrokeshire such as the Torch is very exciting. We have so much fun getting to do various activities and coming up with ways to engage with the public.

Working within the marketing team offers new daily challenges with something new popping up every week. We want to make sure we can help provide visitors from near and far to the Torch with the best experience possible.
