THE ROARING GIRL
By Thomas Middleton and Thomas Dekker
Directed by Juliette Manon
There’s a wench
Called Moll, Mad Moll, or Merry Moll, a creature
So strange in quality, a whole city takes
Note of her name and person.

The Roaring Girl - reimagined.
Join us on this wild romp through the fictionalized life of Mary Frith, known as ‘Moll Cutpurse’, who gained notoriety as a scandalous virago in the early 17th Century.
Directed by Juliette Manon, The Roaring Girl explores gender and identity and questions the play’s themes and characters through a modern lens.
Expect a night out which celebrates the seminal and poetic writing of Thomas Middleton, woven with a contemporary edge. ‘The Roaring Girl’ is a joyously anachronistic, wildly entertaining and unapologetically punk-political piece of theatre.
Do not miss out on meeting Moll.
This is presented as part of an exciting double-bill alongside Attempts On Her Life. Click here to book tickets.
£8 per show (£5 concession) | £12 to see both (£8 concession)
