Casual Cleaner

 

Keeping things spick and span, you’ll provide a first class cleaning service in all areas of the Torch Theatre including the performance spaces, dressing rooms, offices and front of house areas, to support our commitment to excellent customer care.

Applicable hourly Living/National Minimum Wage rates will apply.

 

No minimum hours are required to be worked or are guaranteed for any week other than those agreed in advance with the Senior Manager - Front of House & Operations. You will be requested to work hours as determined by the programme of planned activity and the needs of the Company and will include day, evening, weekend and bank holiday shifts - flexibility is therefore an essential requirement of this role.

Casual Cafe & Bar Assistant

 

Our Café, Bar and Kiosk are always popular with our Torch Theatre visitors. You’ll help to keep all areas running in a friendly and efficient manner, adding to our visitor’s experience with your excellent customer service skills. So, if you have a passion for customer service and have experience of Café and/or Bar work, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

 

As a casual Café/Bar/Kiosk Assistant you will be responsible for welcoming and serving customers visiting the Torch Café, Bar and Kiosk in a quick and efficient manner always remaining calm in what can be a busy environment.

 

Our Café and Bar opening hours are determined by our theatre and cinema programmes and will regularly vary. We therefore operate a shift/rota system with hours agreed in advance with the Front of House & Operations Manager. Our Bar and Kiosk is licensed from 11:00am to 1:00am so early and/or late shifts over the week, weekends and Bank Holidays will be required. Availability is therefore an essential requirement of this role.
