Milford Haven Town Councillor Yvonne Southwell hails from a family who for generations have lived in Dale, Pembrokeshire. Moving to Milford Haven in 2000 from London Yvonne has lived in Hakin for eight years and became a Councillor for the Hakin Ward and served as Mayor of Milford Haven (2013/14).

Married, with two sons, a step son and daughter and five grandchildren, Yvonne attends St Katharine & St Peter’s Church and is the Chair of the Friends of St Katharine & St Peter’s Church. Yvonne is also Chair of Hakin Community School Governing Body and a member of the Milford Haven Music Festival Committee. Yvonne's interests are her family, serving the community on various committees and the arts.
