Smash hit comedy returns to the Torch Theatre to complete some “unfinished business”

Back by popular demand and to complete some unfinished business, Richard Bean’s smash-hit comedy, One Man, Two Guvnors returns to Milford Haven this Autumn.

With a hilarious mix of slapstick, one-liners and live music, One Man, Two Guvnors is British Comedy at its very best. Seen by over 1 million people worldwide, the Torch Theatre Company is proud to present the West End and Broadway smash hit once more. Directed by the Torch Theatre’s Artistic Director, Peter Doran, One Man, Two Guvnors is a brilliant night out and a show you don’t want to miss.

Fired from his skiffle band, the very skint and incredibly hungry Francis Henshall (Christian Patterson) becomes minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End hood, now in Brighton to collect £6,000 from his fiancée’s dad. But Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who’s been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers.

Holed up at The Cricketers’ Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be re-united with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two guvnors apart. Simple isn’t it?

Peter Doran, the Torch Theatre’s Artistic Director, says:

“I’m delighted to be bringing back our wonderful production of OM2G this Autumn. It was such a shame that so many people who wanted to see it, sadly missed out. It’s one of those shows that everyone should see – probably the funniest thing to hit the British stage in the last 25 years. We’re all looking forward to getting started on recreating that mayhem, get you’re tickets now, it’s bound to be popular.”

One Man, Two Guvnors runs at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, from Thursday 31 October to Saturday 16 November including a BSL interpreted performance on Thursday 7 November. Tickets are on sale now and are available from the Torch Theatre’s Box Office on 01646 695267 or
