A new exhibition opens on Monday 1 April at the The Oriel Joanna Field Gallery, the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, showcasing the work of artist Maggie Tweed,  in her fourth exhibition of contemporary art in Pembrokeshire.

Colour, texture, surfaces and the constantly changing seasonal elements play an important part in Tweed's semi-abstract interpretations of this spectacular coastline.

Maggie says; "I consider myself very privileged to have spent my entire childhood in Pembrokeshire, often wondering as I stared at the sea and the sky, what was ‘beyond the blue’.   So through my work I like to try and capture some of the feeling of these days, bringing colour, texture and surface patterns together to create something close to what is for me the essence of this wild and beautiful place."

This exhibition runs from Monday 1 April to Friday 26 April and can be viewed at all times when the theatre and adjoining café is open.
