MHAOS Presents: Guys & Dolls

Mon 23 Mar - Sat 28 Mar 2020
£14 | £12 Concession [Monday & Tuesday]

This big Musical brings to life great fictional characters such as Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Harry the Horse and Angie the Ox, and tells of the eternal battle between Good (Sarah of the Salvation Army) and Bad (Sky Masterson and his team of gamblers).

The music and lyrics blend perfectly with the story. With songs at the opening of Fugue for Tinhorns and many others such as TAKE BACK YOUR MINK, SIT DOWN YOU’RE ROCKIN’ THE BOAT, IF I WERE A BELL I’D BE RINGING, I LOVE YOU A BUSHEL AND A PECK, and I’VE NEVER BEEN IN LOVE BEFORE.

Nathan Detroit and his gambling fraternity are more concerned with finding a place for their illegal crap games, while Adelaide, Nathan’s long time fiancé is preoccupied with trying to get him to the altar. With such shenanigans, the crap game eventually takes place. Sarah realises that Sky is not all bad and Adelaide finally gets her man to the Altar.

It just goes to prove that the Guys are only doing it for some Dolls...

Based  on a story and characters of Damon Ruth.  Music by Frank Loesser  |  Lyrics by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows
