An old Sussex manor house for sale is haunted by the ghost of a young woman who once lived there.
37 years earlier a young girl, Mary Rose, went missing on an island in the Outer Hebrides.
After a month, she mysteriously returned unaware that she had been away.
As a young married woman, she revisits the island with her husband, and disappears again.
After 23 years, she reappears, but by now her parents, husband and son have all aged, whilst Mary Rose has remained the same.
In this hauntingly beautiful and witty play, from the creator of Peter Pan, comes an exploration of time, love, loss and hope.
“a riveting example of ensemble theatre at its very best.”
