Swansea City Opera presents The Barber of Seville

Thu 15 Feb 2018
£19.50 | £18 Concession

The Barber of Seville is Rossini’s most sparkling and famous comic opera. Set in Seville in the late 18th Century, a young Spanish nobleman, Count Almaviva, is in love with the beautiful and rich Rosina, ward of the lecherous Doctor Bartolo, who plans his own marriage to her.

Along comes the meddling Figaro, the town barber, and we have all the ingredients for confusion and mayhem...

Swansea City Opera has a proud history of producing high quality, accessible productions and are committed to making Opera for seasoned opera-goers and people new to opera alike.

There will be a pre-performance talk about the opera and production at 6.15pm given by the Artistic Director of Swansea City Opera, Brendan Wheatley.
