NT Live will broadcast live to the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven on Thursday, 22 June, its new production – Salomé.
The story has been told before, but never like this. This charged retelling turns the infamous biblical tale on its head, placing the girl we call Salomé at the centre of a revolution.

An occupied desert nation. A radical from the wilderness on hunger strike. A girl whose mysterious dance will change the course of the world.

Internationally acclaimed multi award winning theatre director and playwright Yaël Farber (Les Blancs) draws on multiple accounts to create her urgent, hypnotic production which will be broadcast live from the stage of the National Theatre. Named Artist of the Year in her native South Africa in 2001, Farber’s productions have toured across the USA, UK, Africa, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Described by the Radio Times as ‘A beautiful, mesmerising production,’ and starring Philip Arditti, Paul Chahlidi, Ramzi Choukair and Vriel Emil, audience members are in for a treat.

Tickets prices: £15.00 | Concession £13.00 | TLC £13.00

Salomé can be seen live at the Torch Theatre on Thursday, 22 June at 7pm. Please note: Salomé contains nudity, and the characters depict and make reference to sexual violence.
